Telephone Communications
Calls of a non-emergency nature will be returned at the earliest available moment in the physician's schedule. Each patient deserves his physicians' uninterrupted attention. Please place phone calls that are non-emergencies during regular office hours.
Calls concerning insurance arrangements or regarding your account should be placed between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, to 419-531-7860.
When your physician has asked you to report your response to certain medications, that information can be given to the doctor for his consideration through a member of our office staff.
Whenever feasible, the transmission of messages and the return of phone calls enables us to take care of your needs more promptly and efficiently than would be the case if we handled each call personally throughout the day. Let us emphasize that you should not hesitate to phone our office with your questions and concerns. They are important. Prompt, courteous and efficient health care is our objective. Your understanding of our telephone guidelines will assist us in providing that level of care to you.

Emergency Care
Emergency situations are given immediate attention:
- In the event of an emergency, contact the office at 419-531-8558. Twenty-four hours every day of the week, your call will be received by our office staff or by our Answering Service and your physician on call will be notified of your situation.
- If you're unable to contact your physician by phone, go to the Hospital Emergency Room. They will contact your physician for you.
- In the event that you are taken to an Emergency Room at any local hospital, you may request that your physician be contacted to provide any medical care that is indicated. We are able to care for you at any hospital emergency room and can arrange for your transfer to another hospital if that is your desire, and if it is consistent with your best medical interest.
