Gregor K. Emmert, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Gregor K. Emmert, Jr. received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University with a major in biology and concentration in neurobiology. He completed medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and he completed his urology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.
He subsequently completed a fellowship in pediatric urology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Emmert’s interests include both pediatric and general urology.
Dr. Emmert is presently a member of The Medical Executive Committee of both Toledo Children’s Hospital and The Toledo Hospital. He served as counselor and Vice President of the Academy of Medicine of Toledo and Lucas County. He is past state chair of the Ohio State Medical Association Organized Medical Staff Section and served four years on the Board of Trustees of the Ohio State Medical Association. He is presently a member of the Ohio Delegation to the American Medical Association House of Delegates.
Dr. Emmert is Board Certified in urology and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is past section head of Pediatric Urology at Toledo Children’s Hospital and past section head of Urology at The Toledo Hospital. He serves as Chairman of Department of Surgery at Toledo Children’s Hospital.
